EBSD 2022 Is transitioning to a new format

As of 7/10/2021 the DVVF has vetted and granted support to 10 entities that assist Veterans amounting to $44,683.85. In addition, more than 250 mostly-new jackets that were collected by the San Ramon Valley Rotary Club for EBSD 2020, were delivered and distributed to Veterans and homeless in San Francisco.

DVDF is also affiliated with Sentinels of Freedom

Clifford J. DeCuir - Director
Cliff is a retired Contract Administrator from PG&E Company and Secretary of the Vietnam Veterans of Diablo Valley.  He is the Secretary of the Foundation.

Michelle R. Lee - Director
Lt Col Michelle Lee retired from the Air Force having served in leadership positions in support of national agencies and combatant commands in her career. In an earlier career, she was a student affairs officer at Stanford University. She currently serves on various community boards and is active with Rotary International and the American Legion. She has a BA degree from UC Berkeley and a Masters of Military Operational Art and Science from the Air University. She is married to Roger Lee , and they have three grown children.

Ronald L. Lowe - Director
Ron is a retired Major General of the United States Army and Board Member of the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation. Major General Lowe is the President of the Foundation.

Mary P. O’Donnell - Director
Rear Admiral Mary P. O’Donnell, (Ret.), US Coast Guard, was commissioned on April 13, 1973. Her assignments have included both traditional Coast Guard operational missions and six years of experience in the join service environment of expeditionary warfare.
Rear Admiral O'Donnell is a graduate of Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in English Education. Staying with the Big 10 schools, she attended both Michigan State University, graduating with a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature, and the University of Michigan's School of Business, completing a course of study in Strategic Human Resources Planning. She also attended Golden Gate University, completing the course work for a Master of Public Administration and has attended the Naval War College, the National Defense University, and completed the CAPSTONE program for flag officers and general officers.
Her military awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, Korean Theater Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with 3 gold stars, the Navy Overseas Service Ribbon, the Commandant's Letter of Commendation, and the Navy Unit Commendation.
In September 2009, Rear Admiral O’Donnell was appointed by President Obama to the Military Leadership Diversity Commission.
In her civilian capacity, Rear Admiral O'Donnell is the Director of Mission Support Services at National Security Technologies, LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada. Her home is in Danville, California, with her husband, Claes Elfving. She has two daughters, Shannon and Shawn.

Michael Slattengren - Director
Slatts retired after 41 years from AT&T as a Sr. Technical Director.  He now volunteers his time with various veteran activities and other charitable organizations.

Gerald T. Yahiro - Director
Jerry is a retired Project Manager of Pacific Bell and Director of the East Bay Stand Down (a biennial community program which assists homeless and less fortunate veterans).
